BBC Three will be turned off in February 2016. This has been confirmend by the BBC Trust.
There has been an online petition as people want the channel to still be On-Air. The petition gained meny supporters. There are even a wide range of Twitter accounts which are also calling for the channel to be saved.
After BBC Three's plug has been pulled, the channel will move online. As well as this, CBBC, which is BBC's TV Channel for children, will brodcast daily til 9pm.
Putting BBC Three online will save The BBC £50M. £30M of which will be used to create new drama shows for BBC One.
Suzanna Taverne, from the BBC Trust, said, "The decision to close a TV channel is a difficult one, and one we have not taken lightly,"
